1.장점
-Reference Phone이다. 따라서 구글의 안드로이드 업데이트를 빠르게 그리고 비교적 계속해서 받을 수 있다. 그리고 어플리케이션들과의 호환성도 뛰어나다. (참고로 저는 스마트폰으로 게임을 거의 하지 않습니다.)
-Reference Phone이기 때문에 사용자가 많다. 따라서 엄청나게 많은 custom ROM들을 구할 수 있다.(XDA와 구글 레퍼런스폰 카페: http://cafe.naver.com/grnf)
-Reference Phone이기 때문에 LG, KT, SKT 같은 통신사 자체에서 강제로 설치한 어플리케이션이 없다.
-무난한 화면 크기와 무게 - 이전에 사용했던 폰은 DELL STRICK이었는데요, 크기도 크고 무게가 상당히 무거워서 누워서 스마트폰으로 인터넷이라도 하려고 하면 금방 팔이 아파왔습니다. 놓쳐서 스마트폰이 얼굴에 떨어지는 날에는 꽤나 큰 고통을 감수해야했지요. 그런데 갤럭시 넥서스는 적당한 크기와 무게를 가지고 있다고 생각됩니다. 물론 이것은 개인의 취향에 따라 달라질 수 있겠지만, 사람의 손 크기나, 주머니의 크기가 한정되어 있다는 점을 고려할 때 실로 적당합니다.
-블루투스 키보드를 비롯한 각종 블루투스 기기들과 호환성 문제가 없다.
-카메라 화질이 괜찮은 편이다. - 카메라 어플로는 Procapture를 사용합니다. 지금까지 썼던 스마트폰들 중에서 가장 카메라 화질이 안 좋았던 기종은 Motorola의 Motoglam이었습니다.
2.단점
-배터리 사용량이 좀 적은 듯한 느낌이 있다. - 저는 실외에서는 스마트폰 사용을 많이 안하기 때문에 큰 불편함은 없었습니다.
-MicroSD card Slot이 없다. - 이것은 매우 걱정했던 문제인데, 막상 사용을 해보니 그에 맞춰 살게 돼서 큰 불편은 없었습니다.
-AMOLED의 화면이 처음에는 매우 이상하게 보였다. - 지금은 그런 느낌이 없지만 처음 받아서 부팅했을 때는 화면이 지글거리는 느낌이었습니다.
-두 종류의 배터리를 제공하는데, 두께가 달라서 배터리를 바꾸면 뒷면 커버까지 함께 바꿔줘야 합니다. (그런데 저는 배터리를 가지고 다니기 보다는 충전기를 가지고 다니기 때문에 이로 인한 불편은 없었습니다.
-DMB가 안 된다. 한국에서 사용하기에는 안타까운 부분입니다.
다른 인터넷 사용기를 찾아보면 각종 소프트웨어적인 문제를 단점으로 지적하면서 불만을 표현하는 분들도 계시는데 저는 처음부터 Custom ROM을 깔아서 사용자에 최적화시켜 사용했기 때문에 소프트웨어로 인한 불편은 없었습니다.
여튼 12개월에 8만원 약정, 가입비 O, 유심비 O, 요금제 자유로 구입했었는데 현재 월요금 16,000원 정도에 잘 사용하고 있습니다.
1 Benefits
